25th Christmas Day: Kick off Christmas morning with a sparkle as you enjoy a delightful Bucks Fizz reception to set the holiday mood! For lunch, indulge in a traditional Christmas feast (pre-booking required). And if you're still hungry later on, there'll also be a finger buffet in the evening.

23rd, 24th Christmas Eve and 26th Boxing Day: Enjoy a buffet-style lunch in the Market Kitchen on the other days of your stay. In the evenings, enjoy a variety of buffet dinners, complete with delicious options for vegan and gluten-free guests, so everyone can celebrate in style.

Festive Treats: And what’s the festive season without a little indulgence? Treat yourself to a seasonal festive afternoon tea that includes mouthwatering sweets and treats. Or head to the Coffee Nest for seasonal light bites full of festive flavour. Supplements apply.

Challenge your wits with themed quizzes and get your groove on at the lively "Let’s Dance" workshop! Throughout your stay, settle in for cosy viewings of festive films and TV specials, including the must-see Royal Speech at the evening theatre venue. Experience the wonder of a lantern-lit walk, a breathtaking evening adventure offered once per stay.

Did we say panto? Oh yes, we did! Immerse yourself in some traditional Christmas fun during a matinee performance of Dick Whittington (selected locations^). And don’t miss the grand finale—an incredible fireworks display, lighting up the sky on Christmas Day or Boxing Day (weather permitting)!

Christmas Day 25th: From the moment you wake on Christmas morning to a sparkling Bucks Fizz reception, the festive feast begins. Walk into the Market Kitchen where a four-course Christmas Day lunch awaits. You'll be greeted with a glass of prosecco, then you'll have the option to add wine pairings too each course too (supplements apply). Christmas night, a lighter finger buffet rounds off the celebrations (served à la carte in B32 at Runnymede).

23rd, Christmas Eve 24th and Boxing Day 26th: Evenings bring comforting buffet dinners, with separate vegan and gluten-free menus available. 

Time to indulge: Festive afternoon teas, limited-edition treats in our coffee lounges, and a seasonal drinks menu specially curated for you add delicious touches throughout your stay.

Thoresby Hall is full board. A buffet lunch will be served each day of your stay, except Christmas Day where you'll enjoy a four course lunch.

Your festive break will be filled with magical moments and merry traditions. Look forward to a visit from Santa himself on Christmas Day, setting the tone for a day full of cheer. Enjoy classic carol singing that stirs the spirit, festive-themed quizzes with the chance to win a prize, and the broadcast of the King's Speech as part of the day’s celebrations. As evening falls, wrap up warm and head outside for a spectacular fireworks display at Heythrop Park (weather permitting) on either Christmas Day or Boxing Day, or at The Runnymede on Thames enjoy a dazzling display of fire breathers that'll light up the night sky by the Thames.^†
