Summer is around the corner and for those foodies amongst you, there's a buzzing calendar of leading food festivals coming up that will tantalise your tastebuds. And the best part? They’re all conveniently close by to some of our unique properties so you can make the most of the occasion with a summer break at Warner Hotels too.

Blenheim Palace Food Festival

The second May bank holiday (24th – 26th May) will see Blenheim Palace turn into a gastronomic extravaganza. Relax and browse carefully selected food stalls, and watch as headliners Raymond Blanc OBE, Thomas Straker and Melissa Hemsley showcase their skills.

Foodies Festivals

Known as the UK’s biggest celebration of food and drink, the Foodies Festivals take place across the country throughout the summer season, and there's several dates to choose from. Promising live cooking demos from TV chefs, performances from leading artists such as Pixie Lott (who is also appearing at our very own Studley Castle this year!), plus plenty of food and drink stalls for you to treat yourself to something tasty. You’ll want to add one of these events to your diary!

Harrogate Food Festival

With two dates in June and August, the Harrogate Food & Drink Festival is returning for 2025. Located at The Stray 28th – 29th June and Ripley Castle 23rd – 25th August, you can expect an incredible line up of chefs, live entertainment, cooking demos and the biggest selection of food and drink to date! Just choose the day that suits and browse, taste and drink to your heart’s content.
 
Stay at: Nidd Hall – less than 20 minute drive from the Stray and 7 minute drive to Ripley Castle

A taste of the Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight becomes a foodie paradise during the summer months with a full-on schedule of festivals and events that will have you indulging in local produce and incredible flavours by the coast.
 
The famous Sausage and Cider Festival returns on the 19th July and is ideal for those who love BBQ vibes and the fruity beverage that just screams summertime.
 
And another perfect pairing with sweet apple cider is none other than cheese, and on the 6th – 7th September the Cider & Cheese Festival at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway celebrates this great combination with a huge variety of cheeses and ciders to try.
 
Since 1983, the Isle of Wight Garlic Festival has been held on the third weekend of August every year. Taking place just outside of Newchurch on 16th – 17th August, why not pop along and spot star chefs, local musicians and more as you support local businesses and charities by embracing the bulb that packs a punch!

The Big Ascot Food Festival

On the 5th – 6th September, Ascot Racecourse offers two days of taste sensations alongside the late summer Flat racing at the Big Ascot Food & Wine Festival. Peruse a delicious display of food stalls and live cooking demos from Michelin-starred chefs all alongside live music performances and enthralling races.

Norwich Food and Drink Festival

Taking place at Whitlingham Country Park on the Norfolk Broads on 28th – 29th June, the Norwich Food & Drink Festival will have a fantastic range of street food, local producers, sweet treats and more where you can discover emerging food trends and new flavours to inspire you.
 
Stay at: Corton or Gunton Hall – both only a 45 minute drive from Norwich
