30th July 2025

The final bank holiday weekend of the summer is fast approaching, and we’ve got some seriously good suggestions for you to pop in the diary and make the most of it before we wave goodbye to summer.
Whether it’s foodie feasts you love or you’re a bit of a culture vulture, get inspired with our bank holiday must-dos.

For the foodies: The Big Feastival
The Big Feastival brings together live music, award-winning street food and Michelin star chefs for a weekend celebrating tasty treats, great performances and good times, all nestled in a secluded farm in the Cotswold countryside. Browse endless street food stalls to keep any cravings satisfied and experience live cooking demos from celebrity chefs. There’s plenty of stages showcasing live artists and performers and even a spa sanctuary in its own field tucked away from the festival bustle.
Stay at: Heythrop Park

For the classic car connoisseurs: Isle of Wights 50th Island Steam Fair
Celebrate 50 glorious years of this traditional steam fair full of activities to make you smile at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Take in the vast collection of vintage cars and feel like a kid again by riding on the traditional fairground rides or trying your hand at the coconut shy. With food stalls, a real ale bar, live entertainment and majestic steam trains running along the line, it’s set to be an unmissable event.

For those who enjoy a flutter: Royal Windsor’s summer closing party
Feeling flush? There’s nothing like the rush of the races and right on Runnymede’s doorstep is Windsor Racecourse. The closing weekend of their Summer Saturdays series takes place on Saturday 23rd August and will not only feature fantastic action on the track, but a fabulous DJ set after the races from Kimberly Wyatt and her Dont’ Cha Disco!
Stay at: The Runnymede on Thames
If you can't make it, see Kimberly Wyatt at Warner Hotels in 2026, where she will perform her Don't Cha Disco at the Runnymede on Thames and Thoresby Hall.
