Hailing from Hampshire and Dorset, the musicians of Tropic Thunder Party Band have been filling dance floors at weddings and parties for nearly 20 years. Their aim is to bring you a massive band sound full of colour and fun and energy from either a trio or a six-piece line-up featuring a mix of singing musicians, guitars, brass, percussion, and pro-synths. The repertoire includes upbeat versions of classic and contemporary pop hits blending influences from ska, 90s dance and garage, rock, pop punk, and funk into one non stop party set list. All uptempo. All picked purposefully for dancing and singing along. They play completely original medleys, mashups, and arrangements you won’t find anywhere else. The band is made up of musicians who between them have played all over the world at weddings, festivals, and musicals, and with big name artists such as Busted, TLC, Blur, and McFly. The setlist has been refined over 20 years of performing at events all over the world.
