FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT JUNE HOLIDAYS IN THE UK
What is the weather like in June?
June is the start of summer in the UK, so temperatures are usually mild to warm, with average highs ranging from 15°C to 21°C (59°F to 70°F). Days are long, with up to 16–17 hours of daylight, especially in the south.
June is generally one of the drier months of the year, but rain is still possible so don't forget to pack for the classic British weather!
Which hotel is best to visit in June?
In June, each Warner Hotel offers a unique atmosphere, so the best choice depends on what kind of break you’re looking for.
Heythrop Park in the Cotswolds is ideal for lively summer events and DJ nights, while Sinah Warren on Hayling Island offers a peaceful coastal escape.
For a blend of history and comfort, Studley Castle in Warwickshire is a great option.
Bembridge Coast and Norton Grange on the Isle of Wight provide scenic sea views and relaxed seaside vibes, and Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire is well-suited for exploring gardens and nearby heritage sites.
That said, all of our hotels and villages make for a great stay in June.
What should I pack for a break in June?
That all depends on how you plan to spend your break, but it’s a good idea to pack layers, including a light jacket and waterproof clothing, as the weather can vary from warm and sunny to cool and damp.
You should always pack your swimwear for every break, as all our hotels have an indoor pool and sauna to use at your leisure all year round. Many have spa treatment rooms too, and you can easily book spa treatments on My Warner Stay.
Spa treatments are available at all locations excluding Corton Coastal Village and Norton Grange. Gunton Hall offers packages and treatments to guests staying at Corton Coastal Village. Norton Grange is excluded. Additional supplements apply.
