Frequently featured in TV documentaries for Channel 4, National Geographic, BBC, MTV, and The Gadget Show, he is widely recognised for his music knowledge and expertise. He has become a household name in the UK and a brand unto himself, amassing a loyal army of fans. Rampling was also the mastermind behind adopting the Smiley Face logo as a symbol of the Acid House and rave movement—one of the most recognisable icons of dance music culture today.

His show Love Groove Dance Party on BBC Radio 1 ran for seven years on Saturday nights, attracting millions of global listeners every weekend. Danny Rampling's radio presence was instrumental in transforming Kiss FM from a pirate station into the major player it is today, influencing dance music and shifting youth culture in 1990s London. He was the first British DJ to play at the Miami Winter Music Conference and among the first to perform in South Africa. With past Ibiza residencies at Pacha, Amnesia, and Privilege, he has helped shape the dance and club scene on the island and in the UK over the years.
