The Bainbridge Course

The par 72 championship standard course will test your driving ability as well as your accuracy. Redesigned in 2009 by Tom MacKenzie, the golf course architect responsible for many Open Championship venues, twists through 440 acres of undulating terrain with lakes, streams and strategically placed bunkers, taking advantage of all the best views that Heythrop has to offer. With a selection of tees to suit all levels of golfer, you can mix a challenging game or friendly competition with stunning sights and a beautiful stroll.

Golf breaks at Heythrop Park FAQs

 

How many rounds of golf are included with my break?

Rounds of golf are not included with your break. You can choose to add as many rounds of golf as you like for an additional supplement. Either add a package at checkout, book on My Warner Stay or visit the golf club on arrival.  

How do I book tee times?

A member of the team will contact you within 48 hours of booking your golf package add on to book your tee times.

What tee times are available?

Tee times align with the core operating hours of the golf course subject to availability. 

For weekend breaks, tee times are only available after 10 am.

Can I play a round before check-in and after check-out?

Yes. You’re welcome to play on your arrival date before you check-in, and likewise on your departure date after you check-out.

Please note check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is at 10 am.

Can I book more rounds in addition to those included in my golf package add on?

Yes. You’re able to book additional rounds of golf as you like. Simply use My Warner Stay to book additional rounds both in advance or during your stay.

Can I hire a buggy?

Yes. You’re welcome to add a buggy hire in advance or during your stay by using My Warner Stay for a cost of £30 per round for Hotel guests and £35 for day guests.

Please note weather conditions may impact buggy use therefore availability of buggy hire will be dependent on ground conditions.

Can I hire golf clubs?

Yes. Golf clubs are available to hire at the golf course reception for £25.

Are there trolleys available?

Yes. Push along trolleys are available to hire from the golf course reception for £5. We also have 2 electric trolleys for £15 per hire.
